When Life was Simple

This is the beginning of a story I am writing for my daughter.

I thought life was simple when I held you for the first time. When I looked into your eyes of wonder and fleet. As I saw the sunset on your blue eyes with the only thoughts were of you.

I thought life was simple when I took you home and I watched you grow. You loved to play with Grandpa and watch baseball with him.

At three months old, you saw us(your mom and dad) exchange vows to be together forever. Even though you did not know what it meant, you knew there was cake and kisses from everyone.

You celebrated Valentine’s Day with us and your Grandma.

When you turned one, I thought life was simple because you soon learned to take your first steps in our first apartment. You are growing so fast. You said your first words. One day you’ll be driving your first car.

When you turned 1.5 years old we moved to a bigger apartment and soon you learned to be an angel in the snow.

Keep an eye out for the rest of the story.
